Boone County Health Department
seeks a full-time Director of Departmental Operations

Essential Duties: Oversees fiscal, personnel, and public health programs for a certified local health department. Responsible for administration of all programs, including environmental health, maternal and child health, communicable disease control, chronic disease, immunizations, health promotion, and emergency response. Prepares and monitors agency budgets. Assesses health needs, determines strategies to implement programs and collaborates with other community agencies to benefit the residents of Boone County. Establishes and evaluates programs and services to ensure compliance with goals, objectives, program standards, and quality assurance. This position reports directly to the Boone County Health Department Administrator.
The emphasis for this position is knowledge and oversight of the Environmental Health Division. The department is looking for an individual with experience working within Environmental Health at a local health department and who preferably possesses an LEHP (Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner) license. The candidate must be willing to complete fieldwork as needed to enhance overall departmental operations.   Minimum Qualifications: (3 Options)
1.      A graduate degree in public health or a related field from an accredited college or university which may include but shall not be limited to a Master's degree in environmental health, nursing, community health, health education, and two years of full-time management experience in public health. 
2.      A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of full-time management experience, of which at least two years must be in public health. Previous experience in Environmental Health with LEHP or Public Health Nursing preferred.
3.      An LEHP (Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner) license and at least two years experience working within Environmental Health at a local health department. If the candidate does not have their LEHP, it will be required to be completed within two years of the date of hire.

Boone County Circuit Clerk seeks to fill part-time scanning position. Hours would be 3.5 hours per day Monday thru Friday. Starting pay is $ 11.00 per hour with regular annual raises. No benefits provided. Essential duties would be scanning documents and filing. A bi-lingual candidate would also include interpreting duties.
